Our Story

Mandurah Blinds is a family business with deep roots in the local community. It began as a small blind cleaning service led by Nathalie and Darryl—two hardworking locals who saw a need for reliable, affordable help in maintaining window furnishings. Over time, what started as a straightforward cleaning venture grew into something much larger. As more people voiced their frustration with relying on big national chains, overseas suppliers, and long wait times, Nat and Darryl stepped in to offer a better local alternative.

Listening closely to their customers, they gradually expanded into supplying and installing new high quality roller, venetians & vertical blinds — offering practical solutions with the same care and attention that defined their cleaning work. Their reputation grew not through flashy marketing, but through word of mouth, strong relationships, and consistently high standards.

For years, Nat and Darryl worked side by side, getting to know their clients, understanding their homes and lifestyles, and building something meaningful—one blind & conversation at a time. Their approach was always personal. It wasn’t about pushing products; it was about helping people find what genuinely worked for their space, their budget, and their lives.

In 2024, Nathalie’s son Devon and his partner Aaron joined the business, continuing what Nat and Darryl started while bringing in some fresh ideas and energy. Devon grew up around blinds—helping out with installs from a young age and learning the ropes on the job. After heading to uni and working in Perth for a few years, he realised he preferred being out and about, working with his hands, and talking to people—so he came back to the business full-time.

Aaron’s background is a bit different. While at uni, he worked for a local marine tourism company across WA, and these days he runs a statewide program in the community sector. He looks after a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff at Mandurah Blinds—keeping things running smoothly with the accounts, admin, and day-to-day operations.

If you call or email us, there’s a good chance you’ll hear from Devon, Nat or Aaron directly. We’re hands-on, and we like it that way. We believe good service comes from real connection—not automation—and that a business should reflect the people behind it.
